• Reyna Barden

    Reyna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Master of Education in School Administration at Mississippi State University. She has been teaching for over 20 years. She currently teaches 2nd grade. She served as Director of the local tutoring program and was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2014.

  • Karen Maxwell

    Karen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at Virginia Tech with a focus on journalism and creative writing. She has been on staff with Cobb County Public School System for the past 10 years working in Kindergarten and Pre-K Special Needs classrooms.

  • Tara LaPorte

    Tara graduated from Kennesaw State University with her Bachelors in Elementary Education. She went on to achieve an ESOL endorsement from KSU+Metro Resa, a Master’s Degree from Lesley University in Teaching with the Arts, and a Specialist Degree from Liberty University in Curriculum and Instruction.

  • Vicki Hendricks

    Vicki earned her B.A. in Psychology at the University of Georgia and completed the Georgia Teacher Academy for Preparation and Pedagogy (GaTAPP) program with certification in K-12 Special Education. With over 20 of experience, she specializes in eclectic approaches to improve academics and uses simulated role play to improve social skills.

  • Abigail Stapleton

    Abigail graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. She went on to earn a Masters in Elementary Literacy from Nova Southeastern University, and is currently working on a Specialist Degree from Columbus State University. Abigail is also certified in Orton-Gillingham instruction as well as ESOL certified.

  • Tanja Smith

    Tanja Smith earned her Bachelor in Elementary School at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. She obtained a Master in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Mississippi. With over 20 years of teaching experience in Mississippi and Georgia, she has taught third through fifth grade. Tanja also has her certification in Gifted Education. She currently teaches 4th grade at Hayes Elementary School in Kennesaw, Georgia.

  • Lisa Oswald

    Lisa is a newly retired public school teacher. She earned her Bachelor in Elementary Education degree at Auburn University. She obtained a Maters degree at the University of West Alabama. With over 30 years of teaching experience in Alabama and Georgia, she has taught Kindergarten through fifth grade. She currently teaches Kindergarten at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church.
